All finals are completed. I got a 96 on my Earth Science final exam. A 90 on the Algebra final exam. Another 90 on the Social Studies final. And finally, a 90 on the English final. 90 is my number! Finishing grades are 91.89 in Earth Science, 92.29 in english, and 100.86 in Social Studies. In Algebra, the teacher has to still grade a few things... So, pretty much another year of school down! =]

Extra credit.

When I was in school extra credit was only available for people who were on the cusp of failing. Interesting.

The teachers can give out one extra credit assignment each quarter, or two per semester.

Ours was after final exams. If you were within 3 percent of passing you could attend an extra two weeks of class for a chance to earn extra credit and pass. Some teachers would allow anyone who wanted to raise their grade to attend, but most just allowed people with grades of 57-59.9.
